The Croft in Mynydd Y Garreg, Kidwelly

For the weekend of 22-24th April I stayed in a holiday cottage called The Croft in Mynydd Y Garreg near Kidwelly. This is owned by the lovely Laura Pearce and looked after by the wonderful Lynda Finch-Jones. Please, visit their website for more information:

I had a wonderful weekend with my support team and their families in this lovely home and am so grateful to Laura and Lynda for their kindness in looking after me. They arranged for me to feature in the local paper, the Llanelli Star, and also a voucher for the near by Farm Shop and Cafe where we spent time on the Saturday afternoon.

Lynda is a truly wonderful lady and welcomed me as if I were a member of her family. Her welcoming gift of a salted caramel sponge cake was absolutely delicious and will be remembered by all of us! It is people like Lynda who make this journey one of warmth and love.

WP_20160424_15_38_42_Raw (2)Lynda and her lovely husband Steve also walked along the Millennium Coastal Path to Burry Port with us on Sunday and then brought me back to The Croft where I spent the Sunday night in their company chatting and reminiscing.

I look forward to returning to visit Lynda at the end of my walk and thank her again for her overwhelming kindness, friendship and support xx
