Jackie Roberts – Llandudno Junction

On 2nd of June I was hosted by an amazing lady called Jackie Roberts at her beautiful home in Llandudno Junction, North Wales.

In memory of her husband, Jackie created a friendship group for widows and widowers called Wyn’s Way where people like herself can gather together on a regular basis and support each other.

It was a great pleasure to stay with Jackie and she treated me with amazing hospitality.  We also had an unusual evening as after we had enjoyed our delicious dinner, we went for an adventurous drive around Llandudno. Firstly, we visited a peaceful graveyard where we could both reflect on the memories about our precious loved ones…then we went to see the top of the Great Orme.  Jackie and I could of spent ages chatting about interesting subjects but unfortunately, we had to go and rest. Before I went to bed, Jackie let me listen to something very special that has no explanation but it gave me great comfort.
Thank you Jackie for everything, but especially for your loving heart.  You are a very special lady and I hope I have the opportunity to meet you again. Sending you lots of love until then xx
