Carolyn & John Robinson, Porthcothan Bay

On 16th of March I was hosted by a delightful couple Carolyn and John Robinson who live in a picturesque little village called Porthcothan Bay.

WP_20160317_08_42_59_ProCarolyn and Lara, one of their Labrador dogs, met me at Mawgan Porth and walked with me back to their house.   We had a lovely weather and really  enjoyed walking and getting to know each other. I learned that Carolyn is a passionate volunteer for a local charity and has a good experience in creative fundraising.  It was very interesting to listen to her inspirational stories especially about Blue Moon fundraising event on the beach which I too hope to implement in the future.

They live in a big and beautiful family home with a fabulous garden and breath-taking  sea view out of almost every window. I really loved to be at their house. Sitting there with a cup of coffee and a luscious cake, and watching panoramic seascape, I felt myself like I was on a luxury holiday. Carolyn and John warmly welcomed me into their family and were the most attentive and caring hosts. We spent a fantastic evening together, enjoying delicious homemade dinner and truly amusing conversation. I found out that Carolyn and John provide a short term accommodations for foreign students from around the world  and have lots of entertaining stories to tell and fascinating gifts to show.WP_20160317_09_42_40_Pro (2)

Next day Carolyn and Lara walked with me again and I spent another wonderful day being surrounded by loving and genuine attention of this amazingly kind couple. It was really sad to say goodbye to them. Carolyn and John, I would like to thank you from all my heart for your wonderful hospitality, kind consideration and your  generosity. I am looking forward to see you both again when I finish my walk xxx
